Summer might be over, but that didn't mean saying goodbye to gorgeous golds and bronzes in our winter make-up. From deep indigos smattered with glittery blue particles at Elie Saab to striking golds at Collette Dinnigan and rusty oranges at Moschino, it was clear that decadent, rich metallics were going to be this season's biggest gilt-y pleasures (get it?) For an instant update on this tried and tested formula, the inspiration was the seventies' disco era - pair luxe, sexy, burnished shades on the eyes with big hair for a full-on Diana Ross tribute.
